Ghezal Omar became the 1st Afghan-American graphic novelist in comicbook history with .357 Magnum Opus, which depicts the dark entanglements of an unflinching female bounty hunter and the ties that bind her.
Continuing her dedication to redefining the female-driven action genre with stylish, adrenaline-fueled thrillers, Omar’s newest title, Pimp Killer, delves into the dark underbelly of a degenerate society.
Her works have garnered interest from WME, Oxygen Network and have recently been featured on ABC, Spectrums News, and LA TIMES.

Kayden made history by creating the first-ever Latina superhero team in comic book history with her graphic novels, A LA BRAVA, now under the Andrews McMeel Publishing banner. For all-ages, she launched Princess Academia, a modern-day princess adventures series that redefines the genre. Under Artillery Network’s banner, Phoenix co-created and co-wrote mature action-packed stories like the .357 Magnum Opus series.
Her latest comic, Lipstick Cliqa, a gripping three-part series about a Latina vampire gang, was slated by Sony Music Entertainment.
